The city of Madison is set to host the 37th annual Willy Street Fair this upcoming weekend, according to the Willy Street Fair website.
The kickoff begins Saturday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. on the 900 block of Williamson Street. The event is scheduled to feature music until 9 p.m. from three different stages, showcasing diverse music genres from folk to dance. Performers include local bands as well as international artists.
Sunday’s events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with the Willy Street Fair Parade. Patrons can attend performances from five stages including a kid’s stage where families can enjoy music together until 7 p.m.
The fair will host approximately 150 vendors offering food and crafts from all over the world.
Patrons will also be welcome to participate in a community raffle with over 150 prizes. Funds from raffle tickets will go to Common Wealth’s Youth Programs department. Other funds raised at the fair will go to the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center.
