UW-Madison is home to six faculty scholars and 13 student winners of the 2014-’15 Fulbright awards, according to a UW-Madison release.
The Fulbright Program, a U.S. government international educational exchange program grants more than 1,100 U.S. university faculty, administrators and scholars of various fields of study the ability to conduct research internationally.
UW-Madison ranks fifth nationally for the number of faculty scholar winners and 17th for the amount of student recipients.
This year’s winners will study in countries across the world, ranging from sociology in Brazil to anthropology in South Korea.
