County officials released the preliminary autopsy results regarding Tony Robinson's death, saying that Robinson died from firearm related injuries, according to an Office of the Dane County Medical Examiner press release.
The autopsy, which was completed the day after Robinson's death, concluded Robinson had died from a "firearm related trauma to the head, torso and right upper extremity," the release said.
The autopsy also included toxicology tests, the results of which will not be completed for several weeks.
The Office of the Dane County Medical Examiner announced that it will be releasing no further information regarding Robinson's death, and the investigation conducted by the State of Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, the City of Madison Police Department and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office remains ongoing, according to the release.
