UW-Madison’s annual University Staff Recognition Awards are now accepting nominations for 2016 qualifiers until Feb. 23.
Every year, the University Staff Recognition Awards highlight five staff members who improve UW-Madison. The winners, chosen by a five-person committee drawn from a diverse group of University staff, will receive a commemorative plaque and a monetary prize.
Nearly every member of University Staff can be nominated and win the award, excluding previous winners and members of the deciding committee.
The 2015 winners were M. Carmen Romero Gonzalez, Timothy Schultz, Christine Cleary-Hinz, Michael Drea and Stephanie Olivas, whose job titles range from a medical staff assistant to a financial specialist senior.
Nominations can be submitted in any language either handwritten or online. Handwritten nominations may be sent in to the office of the Secretary of the University Staff.
