Twelve UW-Madison faculty members have been announced as winners of the 2016 Distinguished Teaching Award.
The award, created in 1953, aims to recognize UW-Madison “faculty members whose teaching is of such quality that it merits recognition and award,” according to a university release.
The 2016 winners include professor of computer science Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau and professor of English David Brow, among the 10 other faculty members. The entire list of winners can be found online.
Chancellor Rebecca Blank and Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf will award the 12 faculty members at a March 16 ceremony.
The ceremony is open to the public and will be held at the Fluno Center.
