Nancy G. Prince, 53, assaulted two women inside a laundromat Tuesday night, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The two women were assaulted 50 minutes apart at 1817 S. Park St. around 8 p.m. One woman, age 25, was punched in the head and knocked to the ground by Prince.
The second woman, age 30, was tackled by Prince and hit her head on the floor. She also reported the suspect put hands over her mouth and she appeared to show signs of a concussion, according to police.
Both women managed to escape the laundromat. Descriptions of Prince by the victims led to Prince’s apprehension on Beld St. last night.
Prince claims the two women provoked the attack by calling her names. Both women deny Prince’s accusation.
