A teenage boy entered a McDonald’s with what appeared to be a revolver in his pocket and asked for free food Tuesday morning, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The man was intoxicated and told workers they would “regret it” if he did not get what he wanted, according to the report. Restaurant workers at the McDonald’s on Dryden Drive called the police at approximately 10:45 a.m.
A worker told an officer she thought the man might be joking, but she was not completely sure.
The man allegedly fled on foot—without food—and police were unable to immediately locate him.
The report described the suspect as a white male in his late teens with a thin build. Police are looking for any information related to the suspect.
