The Memorial Union Terrace will remain open, according to a press release from the Wisconsin Union.
The Terrace has been closed since Fall 2015, but was temporarily opened for graduation weekend. Memorial Union faculty determined after the busy event that Terrace guests would not disrupt construction, which led to the decision for it to continue to be open.
According to the release, sections of the Terrace may close periodically to add finishing touches. Guests will still have access to the venue from the North Park Street and North Lake Street entrances during these times.
Various activities at the Terrace, including yoga and outdoor movies, will begin in the near future. The Memorial Union Terrace summer hours and events are available on the Memorial Union website.
