Madison Police Department officers are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed and headbutted a woman doing laundry in a common area at a Fahrenbrook Court apartment building early Saturday morning.
The woman went to do some wash around 2:05 a.m. Saturday when she was approached by a man, according to an MPD incident report.
“He asked for her wallet, and when she told him she did not have one on her, he gave her the head-butt and fled,” MPD Public Information Officer Joel DeSpain wrote in the report. “She suffered facial injuries, but did not wish to go to a hospital.”
According to the report, MPD officers found signs of damage to a building door, which likely allowed the robber to gain entrance. They did not release any details on the suspect.
