Two phrases written in white spray paint were drawn on the sidewalk and wall on East Campus Mall across from the Chazen Art Museum Wednesday.
The one on the ground read “Fuck Trump,” and the one on the wall said “Black Lives Matter.”
The graffiti closely followed the victory of Donald Trump in an extremely contentious presidential election.
According to UW-Madison spokesperson Meredith McGlone, Facilities Planning and Management removed the graffiti.
UW-Madison Police Department spokesperson Marc Lovicott said the individuals responsible for the graffiti have been found and are being cited for UW Code violation.
