Four unidentified suspects robbed a 26-year-old man early Saturday morning on the 400 block of West Gorham Street, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m.
“The victim said he was pushed to the sidewalk and robbed of his cell phone and wallet by four men who punched him and ran his pockets,” MPD Public Information Office Joel DeSpain wrote in the report. “He was not able to provide detailed descriptions of his assailants, but believes one was armed with a knife.”
A responding officer gave the victim a ride to his home on the west side following the incident.
