The Madison Police Department will close part of West Johnson Street Friday, starting at North Bassett Street and ending at North Carroll Street for an event featuring Vice President Joe Biden.
According to a city press release, the closure will be from 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. The event will also close part of State Street and North Henry Street.
Biden will be campaigning for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate candidate Russ Feingold. The event is titled “Get Out the Vote Event with Joe Biden.”
