The UW-Madison Police Department is calling on Madison residents to help catch and identify a pickpocket suspect who stole a man’s wallet in November.
The suspect, who is seen on camera stealing a man’s wallet at a Badger football game and soon after using the man’s credit card at a nearby mall, is described as black male with short gray hair, 5’10, 50 to 60 years old and wearing glasses. The suspect drove a 2006 to 2016 black, four-door Jeep Wrangler Sport the day of the crime.
The person whose wallet was stolen immediately contacted police Nov. 26 once he realized his wallet was missing. UWPD contacted several law enforcement agencies throughout Wisconsin but so far no leads have been successful.
