A man walking through a downtown park Sunday night was robbed at gunpoint by two men, according to the Madison Police Department.
The robbery occurred around 10:20 p.m. in James Madison Park, located on the 300 block of East Gorham Street, MPD Lt. Timothy Radke said in an incident report.
The victim was walking home from work when two suspects approached him, held a gun to his head and demanded money, Radke said. They were able to take around $10 before fleeing to a lifeguard shack on James Madison Beach.
Police have not yet identified the suspects, who are described as two black men wearing dark clothing and white masks.
