Once the Nicholas Recreational Center is completed, the Division of Recreational Sports will change to University Recreation and Wellness, John Horn, director of the Division of Recreational Sports said at a student finance committee Monday.
Horn said they often get calls about UW football ticket sales, even though their organization isn’t in charge of selling them. He noted that the name change would more adequately fit their goals.
The committee will be voting on the budget after touring their temporary facilities at Ogg Residence Hall Thursday.
Horn and Rec Sports declined to comment.
