Two men driving a stolen car were arrested after crashing into another vehicle Wednesday, according to a UW-Madison Police Department incident report.
A UWPD officer noticed a stolen vehicle driving on Park Street near Dayton Street at approximately 6:10 p.m. After the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver sped away.
The vehicle crashed into another car at Park Street and West Washington Avenue. The driver and passenger of the fleeing car immediately left the scene.
Witnesses directed officers to the location of the suspects. The driver of the vehicle, Cleaster L. Moon, 23, was caught and taken into custody. The passenger, Donivan R. Lemons, 21, was found hiding in a dumpster shortly after.
No one was injured in the crash.
