A Lyft driver was taken into custody early Sunday morning for sexually assaulting a woman on Langdon Street, the Madison Police Department said.
The victim, who had just been dropped off by the driver, let him into her apartment because he claimed he needed to use the bathroom, according to a police report. The victim immediately contacted the police, who arrested the driver after a traffic stop. He is being held on two charges of second degree sexual assault.
