With the warm weather months coming into swing, there are also some theatre performances coming up in Madison to look forward to. Within the next month, the Overture Center will host Broadway’s new travelling productions of “A Bronx Tale” and “Anastasia.”
“A Bronx Tale” is a 1960’s story of a New York man struggling with mob bosses and family troubles. The musical comedy will take to the Overture from May 9-14.
“Anastasia” will be showing at the Overture from July 30 to Aug. 4. This adventure follows a young woman trying to discover her past and in the process finding love, home and family. I’m looking forward to both of these productions’ upcoming runs here in Madison.
