To our readers,
As of today, March 18, 2020, The Daily Cardinal will be suspending print operations through the end of the spring semester. We believe this action is in the best interest of our student staff — ensuring each others’ safety with social distancing and following the university’s decision to suspend in-person instruction.
However, we recognize our critical role of providing the Madison community with the latest information, especially in this unprecedented time. We will continue to publish content online, with our staff working remotely.
In addition, our second Action Project of the semester will be dedicated to coverage regarding the coronavirus. This will be an all-digital project for students, university staff and community members alike to learn about some of the unique challenges during this time.
