The Badgers had to turn their bus around after their series against the Nittany Lions was cancelled Thursday night.
Undefeated, No. 1 Wisconsin (11-0) was scheduled to play No. 11 Penn State (9-5) on Friday and Saturday evening. Thursday night, both schools announced that due to COVID-19 health concerns within the Penn State team, the matches have been cancelled.
Wisconsin is coming off a one-match win against No.1 Minnesota (11-2) last weekend. Before that, the Badgers took a nearly month-long break from match play after a string of matches were cancelled because of COVID-19 concerns within and outside of the Badger team.
On the road to State College, the Badgers posted Q&As to Instagram, and were laughing and dancing in the clips, anticipating their first regular series in a month.
The Badgers will now finish off the regular season at home on Apr. 1 and 2 against Michigan State (2-9).
