The University of Wisconsin Police Department issued an all-clear shortly after a WiscAlert was sent warning students and faculty to avoid South Mills Street due to an armed robbery at 301 S. Park Street.
The address provided by UWPD points to Asian Midway Foods as the target of the robbery.
The alert, sent at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday evening, reported that the suspect was dressed in a black jacket and pants and was headed northbound on a bike with red wheels.
Police believe the suspect to be armed with a firearm.
The all clear message encourages students and faculty to return to their normal daily activities.
The Madison Police Department is currently conducting an investigation at 301 S. Park Street regarding the robbery.
