A car accident occurred Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of University Avenue and Charter Street in front of the UW-Madison Chemistry Building.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., a car rolled over on University Avenue. The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
UWPD officers and city firefighters arrived within minutes to assist with traffic control and removing objects from the affected vehicle.
Neither UWPD nor MPD have further information about the crash. There were no apparent injured persons on scene.
Firefighters and UWPD were still on scene as of 3:45, according to an MPD spokesperson.
