I mean, I’m not super depressed about it or anything like that, but I really want to do everything that I can to keep looking and, more importantly, feeling young. And as graduation gets closer, I find myself thinking more and more about how I’m going to manage to stay youthful when I’m busy working a job and dealing with stress. On Monday, February 11, the Associated Students of Madison Student Services Finance Committee (SSFC) unanimously voted against the University Health Services’ (UHS) $18.9 million budget for the 2020 fiscal year. The budget and SSFC recommendations will be presented to Chancellor Rebecca Blank in March for a final decision.

If you walk through the streets of downtown Madison, you may walk past or interact with homeless or disadvantaged individuals. While there are local groups like Porchlight and the Beacon focused on helping the homeless receive basic needs like food and shelter, there is a significant deficiency in mental health resources for those without permanent residencies.
