Stanislas Wawrinka’s run through this year’s Australian Open was impressive and included a dramatic, five-set win over defending champion Novak Djokovic. Wawrinka fought through heat, and a stacked slate of opponents in order to win the tournament. His final win even came against world No. 1, Rafael Nadal.

It's impossible to predict how a year will turn out. That's particularly true in video games, where projects are often shrouded in secrecy until they're revealed at various trade shows throughout the year. There's a basic outline for how the year may play out, but in an industry where poor sales can immediately sink a developer, guessing basic narratives is almost impossible.

Well, it’s pretty much official. Multiple sources are telling reporters that Johnny Manziel has selected an agent and will forego two whole years of NCAA eligibility for the riches and, more importantly to him, the freedom of the National Football League.

So I don’t write a lot about acting, pretty simply because I’m a person who wants to make movies and so I think about movies more through the lens of people who produce the films, and not those who perform in them. Sometimes on warm summer nights, I wake up in a cold sweat just thinking how far away the prime video game awards show is. My body defies science purely out of excitement.
