College 101: Getting Great Sleep
By Scholarship Media | Jan. 29, 2018I want to get better sleep. It’s not necessarily that I’m getting terrible, terrible sleep right now, but I feel like I could be doing better.
I want to get better sleep. It’s not necessarily that I’m getting terrible, terrible sleep right now, but I feel like I could be doing better.
My roommate and I could use some expert investing advice. We’re both college seniors graduating in May.
I could use some advice from someone knowledgeable about the different pros and cons associated with smoking marijuana.
I could desperately use some help. My boyfriend’s birthday is soon approaching, and I don’t have any decent gift ideas yet.
My dad recently turned fifty, which was a big deal. My mom spared no expense when it came to the celebrations.
I could use some real advice. My roommate has an older brother in New Jersey who’s had a pretty rough time after dropping out of college.
Now that I’ve gone off to college, my parents are considering selling the house I grew up in with my siblings.
My roommate suffered a collision with another car while riding a motorcycle over the holidays.
I love my life here on campus. I’m also very committed to succeeding in school. When I left for college, my Dad told me an old joke: “Sleep, studies, social life—pick two.” Well, that seems pretty accurate to me: I can’t sleep. When I try to get to sleep here at school, I start to stress out about my academics or feel antsy about not being out with my friends.
I’m part of a pretty tight-knit organization at my school, and I’ve been elected to be the social chair this year.
Since I left for college, my parents have told me that my grandfather has started to develop some health issues.
I’m ready to graduate in just about every way. I have a job lined up, a potential roommate, and big plans for my own space.
My family recently made the decision to move my grandmother to an assisted living facility.
My friends and I recently came up with what we thought was an awesome idea: a big group vacation over the summer.
I’d like the experts to back me up on something that’s really important to me. I’ve been having some issues with my friends here understanding something, and I want to be able to show them some proof that I’m right. My dad is in manufacturing, and he’s incredibly well-trained, talented, and well-paid.
Next summer, I’m going on vacation with my friends from here at school. It’s a long ways off, but I’m already stressing about it, and here’s why: my mother is going to drive me nuts. No, my mother is not going on this vacation with my college friends (that would be weird). But I’ve been on vacation without my dear mother before, and she does not handle it well.
I’m lucky to go here. It’s a great school, the campus is beautiful, the professors are brilliant, and I know I’ll be better off for having been here.
I’m going to graduate this year, but I don’t think I’m quite ready to settle down and work in an office somewhere.
When wintertime rolls around, it’s always hard to motivate yourself to get up and work out. You want to be cozy and warm in your bed, and Netflix is impossible to turn off.
After Thanksgiving “break,” which is just another excuse for professors to pile on the homework, comes everyone’s favorite time of year.
