Wisconsin returns home seeking win against in-state rival Marquette

It has been a tale of two seasons thus far for the Wisconsin men’s tennis team (4-4) as through eight games, the Badgers sit at .500. Unlike the frigid temperatures that have gripped the UW-Madison campus for much of February, the Badgers have been red-hot when playing in Madison and they have a flawless 4-0 home record to show for it.  It has been a vastly different story for the team when not in the friendly confines of Nielsen Tennis Center, where they have yet to win a match this season.

Badgers look to carry early season momentum to West Coast

The Wisconsin men’s tennis team will attempt to win its first matches of the spring season away from Madison this weekend, when it travels west to face some unfamiliar foes. After an encouraging weekend that saw the team go 2-0 at Nielsen Tennis Center and push its record to 4-2 on the season, the team will look to build on its strong start.

Men's tennis: Wisconsin Badgers face struggling Michigan State Spartans; face huge test against Michigan Wolverines

This weekend the Badgers head East to Michigan to face off against the Spartans on Saturday and the Wolverines on Sunday. Coming off of a weekend that saw Wisconsin take down No. 19 Northwestern, in one of the biggest wins in program history, and then fall to No. 28 Illinois in a disappointing showing, the Badgers sit in second place in the Big Ten. Michigan State has had a rough season thus far.
