Following President Obama's State of the Union address, two conservative congressional figures took the national stage to express their views on the status of the government.
After President Obama delivered his State of the Union address Tuesday night, all eyes turned to Wisconsin's own Rep. Paul Ryan for the Republican response. Ryan, a Janesville native, has become an increasingly important player in the national political scene. The reason for his meteoric rise is simple: he represents the future of the conservative movement.
Gov. Scott Walker has a problem with perception. Unlike other politicians, who might be living in the past or who are perhaps out of touch with reality, Walker is living almost exclusively in the present.
