Wisconsin advances to Sweet 16 after 1-0 win over Notre Dame

The senior midfielder scored a header in overtime to give the Wisconsin Badgers (4-3-1 Big Ten, 12-4-5 overall) a 1-0 win over the No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (3-3-2 ACC, 11-7-2) and continue the Badgers’ run in their first NCAA Tournament since 2013. “"It's exciting for the guys to be moving onto the round of 16,” head coach John Trask said.
