The Wisconsin volleyball team lost its fifth match in the last six Friday, falling in five sets to the Michigan State Spartans.
The Badger volleyball team will look to bounce back at home after losing their last two matches. The will face Michigan and Ohio State and any student who presents valid ID will get into the OSU match for free.
The Wisconsin Volleyball team will continue its road weary ways this weekend when they go to the UNLV Invitational this weekend. The currently have are 3-0 record and despite losing six letter winners from 2007.
The UW volleyball team will have to replace six players and four starters from last season's highly ranked team. Despite closing the year on a sour note, being upset by Iowa State, the players are looking forward to reloading and learning from the loss.
These seven athletes will all be important factors in the success of their respective UW teams this fall. They will be relied upon as team leaders and will be the faces of Wisconsin athletics first semester.
Although the losses of Michael Flowers and Brian Butch will leave the Badger basketball team slightly short-handed early in the season, Bo Ryan's consistent methodical approach should lead to another successful season in Madison.
