New Sparks movie stays 'Dear' to heart

In his typical romantic fashion, Nicholas Sparks brought us a story of young love tested by distance and time in his novel ""Dear John."" Now, thanks to director Lasse Hallström, an adaptation of Sparks' novel has hit the big screen, promising to bring with it plenty of tears. For those who are fans of Sparks' work or merely die-hard romantics, the movie is sure to be an enjoyable experience. However, some may leave the theater with mixed feelings, thinking this is a story they have seen and heard many times before.

Building on drama and romance from last film, 'New Moon' is a leap forward for 'Twilight' series

UW prepares for Northwestern

The Wisconsin men's soccer team needs an offensive boost. During their game Wednesday night against UW-Green Bay, the Badgers had plenty of opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net. They will be looking for more opportunities to arise when they  travel to Evanston, Ill., for a Big Ten matchup against Northwestern at 7 p.m Saturday.

Tucker Max is an asshole.  In fact, he is probably the biggest asshole to ever walk the face of the earth. He does whatever and whoever he wants whenever he wants. He enjoys getting excessively drunk, throwing insults left and right and manipulating hundreds of women into sleeping with him. That's right, hundreds. Although a man like Tucker Max might seem like a waste of human intelligence, his stories have topped the bestseller list, and he has now set out to conquer the box office.
