WISPIRG will sponsor a competition among university residence halls, challenging students to save the most energy from now through Nov. 21.
Twenty-four UW-Madison students were selected, 18 of which accepted scholarships to travel and study abroad for a year.

Halliburton, an oil services company once run by Vice President Dick Cheney, will be recruiting engineer students on campus Thursday. Campus Antiwar Network members plan to protest the visit.
