UW faces matchup with familiar foe

With just four games remaining in the regular season, the Wisconsin men’s soccer team takes a break from conference play to face in-state opponent UW-Milwaukee. The Badgers (1-2-2 Big Ten, 3-9-2 overall) look to earn their fourth win of the season, all of which have come on the road.

Badgers squander early lead, suffer loss to Green Bay

The Badgers (1-1-0 Big Ten, 2-7-0 overall) jumped out to a two-goal lead and looked to be playing some of their best soccer of the season, but it was not enough, as in-state rival Green Bay (0-1-1 Horizon League, 2-5-2 overall) scored three unanswered goals and beat the Badgers 3-2 Wednesday at the McClimon Sports Complex.

Early deficit dooms UW against Maryland

Despite playing before a large crowd on a day where Wisconsin’s 1995 national championship team was honored, the Badgers were no match for the for the No. 11 Maryland Terrapins, losing 4-1 in the contest.
