Hate crimes in Madison like the vandalism near a synagogue in James Madison Park have increased dramatically since 2015.

An area convenience store surveillance camera captured photographs of a suspect thought to be involved in a downtown Madison theft incident.

Brandon Crockett, 27, is MPD’s suspect in the September shooting and he remains at large.
