The case challenges over 220,000 votes cast in Dane and Milwaukee counties and seeks to revoke the governor’s certification of election results.
The state certified its election results from the Nov. 3 general election following a partial recount and pressure by Republicans to invalidate voting results within Wisconsin.
President-elect Joe Biden added 87 votes to his lead in Wisconsin after a partial recount in the two heavily Democratic counties. The state Elections Commission is set to certify results Tuesday, but Trump is threatening a lawsuit.
“I think it's very important here. These clubs make it feel like home or like family, for people on campus, and they just build community,” said Short.
Over 3.2 million Wisconsin voters turned out Tuesday, breaking the 2012 record, but the state is already preparing for a recount.
