In the face of one-time restrictions adopted by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, clerks ran last week's election radically differently from one municipality to the next.
Some U.S. politicians have raised concerns that the move to South Carolina was done to avoid using union labor, and a committee is currently investigating the issue.
“The courts have failed Brendan repeatedly and at every level,” lawyers Jerome Buting and Dean Strang said. “We ask you to exercise the power that only you have: to free him. We ask you to do it now.”
"If Ron Johnson says we don't need more good jobs here, we don't need more Ron Johnson this November" Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes said.
The Forest County Potawatomi will be able to legally offer event wagering on sports and non-sports events.
“It’s not like we have no jobs here in Wisconsin,” said Sen. Johnson at a news conference Saturday.
